SattvaOS is built for spiritual communities where privacy and consent matter. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors to the SattvaOS website (sattvaos.tech and sattvaos-website.vercel.app), individuals who submit contact or access-request forms, and organization representatives who apply for platform access.

This policy does not govern data processed inside deployed Digital Guide experiences (tenant environments) — those environments are governed by the relevant organization's policies and the SattvaOS platform terms agreed at onboarding.

2. What we collect and why

Contact and access-request forms

When you submit a form (demo request, organization application, partnership inquiry, API access request), we collect the information you provide: name, email address, organization name, use-case description, and any optional message you include. We use this to respond to your request, evaluate organizational fit, and communicate about platform access. We do not collect passwords, payment card data, private spiritual journals, or sensitive personal documents through these forms.

Technical and server logs

Our hosting providers (Vercel and Google Cloud) automatically collect standard server logs when you visit the website. These logs may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and timestamps. We use these logs for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and diagnosing infrastructure issues. We do not use these logs to build behavioral profiles for advertising.

Essential website function

The website uses only what is strictly necessary to deliver pages: no analytics trackers, no third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking scripts have been deliberately introduced. Vercel's infrastructure may use technically essential mechanisms (such as edge-caching identifiers) to serve the website.

3. How we use your information

Responding to demo requests, organization applications, and partnership inquiries
Evaluating whether an organization meets the platform's access criteria
Communicating about platform developments relevant to your expressed interest
Security monitoring and abuse prevention

We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing unrelated to your expressed interest in SattvaOS.

4. Storage and security

Form submissions are validated by a server-side API and stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in a private project. Administrative credentials are server-only and are never exposed in browser code or committed to the source repository. Access to stored submissions is limited to authorized SattvaOS team members.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no system can guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of a security concern, please report it to privacy@sattvaos.tech.

5. Service providers and hosting

We use the following infrastructure providers to operate the website. These providers process data on our behalf according to their own privacy terms:

Vercel — website hosting and serverless function execution
Google Cloud (Firestore) — form submission storage

6. Data retention

We retain form submissions for as long as the associated inquiry remains active or relevant to ongoing conversations about platform access. We do not retain data indefinitely. If your organization's application is declined or withdrawn, we will delete your submission upon request within a reasonable period.

7. Children and minors

The SattvaOS platform website is intended for organizational representatives and qualified adults. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted to us. To make a request, contact us at privacy@sattvaos.tech. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We cannot fulfill requests related to automatically generated server logs held by infrastructure providers.

9. International considerations

The website and its infrastructure may process data across international borders, including India, the United States, and the European Union, depending on where infrastructure providers operate. By using the website, you acknowledge this possibility. We do not represent that the platform meets the specific legal requirements of any particular jurisdiction.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
