Accessibility Statement
Accessible to everyone.
SattvaOS is committed to making the website accessible to all users, including those who use assistive technologies, keyboard navigation, or reduced-motion environments.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for all public pages. This is an ongoing effort. We have not undergone formal, independent WCAG certification and do not claim certified conformance. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility issues as the platform evolves.
Accessibility features implemented
Keyboard navigation
The website is designed to be navigable by keyboard. All interactive elements — navigation links, buttons, form fields, and CTAs — are reachable via Tab and operable via Enter or Space.
Skip navigation
A visible skip-to-main-content link appears when focused via keyboard, allowing screen reader and keyboard users to bypass the navigation and proceed directly to the page content.
Visible focus states
All focusable elements display a visible focus ring using the saffron brand color to ensure keyboard focus is clearly visible at all times.
Semantic heading structure
Each page uses a single H1 heading with a logical hierarchy of H2 and H3 headings to support screen reader navigation and content scanning.
Semantic HTML and ARIA
The website uses appropriate semantic HTML5 elements: nav, main, footer, section, article, and button where applicable. ARIA labels and landmarks are used where semantic HTML alone is insufficient.
Color and contrast
Text is designed to meet adequate contrast ratios against background surfaces. Status is not communicated by color alone — labels and text accompany color-coded indicators.
Reduced motion
Animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who prefer reduced motion receive a minimal animation experience across all pages.
Mobile and touch
Touch targets are sized to at least 44×44px to meet minimum guidelines for touch accessibility. The mobile navigation menu manages focus appropriately when opened and closed.
Decorative content
Decorative SVG icons and background elements are marked aria-hidden="true" so that screen readers do not narrate them as meaningful content.
Form accessibility
Form inputs are associated with visible labels. Error messages are programmatically associated with their inputs. Required fields are indicated.
Known limitations
The website is in active development and not all areas may meet accessibility guidelines completely. Some third-party components or embedded previews may have their own accessibility constraints outside of our direct control.
