Acceptable Use Policy

Clear boundaries for responsible use.

The SattvaOS platform exists to serve spiritual communities safely and honestly. This policy defines what is prohibited to protect the integrity of organizations, teachers, and users who rely on the platform.

These prohibited uses apply to all website visitors, organization applicants, authorized organization representatives, and anyone interacting with a SattvaOS Digital Guide experience. Violations may result in access suspension, termination, or referral to appropriate authorities where legally required.

Identity and impersonation

  • Impersonating a living or deceased spiritual teacher, guru, religious authority, deity, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or any other person
  • Creating or distributing content that falsely implies a Digital Guide is a real human being
  • Misrepresenting organizational identity or authority in access applications

Unauthorized voice, likeness, and corpus

  • Generating voice output or visual likeness of any real person without their explicit written authorization
  • Submitting copyright-protected texts, audio, or video without verified rights and consent
  • Using auto-scraped internet content as organizational corpus without human review and approval
  • Reproducing or distributing platform-generated content attributed to real teachers without authorization

Harm and exploitation

  • Using the platform to exploit vulnerable users through fear-based donation solicitation
  • Making false spiritual outcome claims — including healing, enlightenment, or supernatural results
  • Producing content that incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against any group
  • Creating or distributing extremist, sectarian, or caste-based harmful content
  • Using Digital Guides to provide medical, legal, financial, or emergency-services advice

Crisis and safety misuse

  • Deliberately triggering or misusing self-harm escalation pathways
  • Suppressing, bypassing, or attempting to configure away mandatory safety guardrails
  • Using the platform to interact with users known to be in acute mental health crisis without appropriate professional referral

Technical abuse

  • Attempting to bypass tenant isolation, authentication controls, or access restrictions
  • Conducting denial-of-service attacks, security exploits, or unauthorized penetration testing against the platform
  • Automated scraping of platform content, APIs, or documentation without authorization
  • Introducing malware, malicious scripts, or unauthorized data into the platform
  • Sharing, selling, or transferring API keys or access credentials to unauthorized parties

Deception and misuse of platform

  • Using the platform to build products that misrepresent the involvement of SattvaOS
  • Claiming SattvaOS compliance certifications, audit status, or regulatory approvals that do not exist
  • Presenting platform features described as planned or in development as production-available to end users
